As part of the Teagasc Optimum Dairy-Beef project, Rischi’s research investigates the effect of Leader-Follower (i.e. calves graze ahead of yearlings) and Separate (i.e. calves and yearlings graze separate areas) grazing systems on gastrointestinal nematode burden and growth performance in dairy-beef calves and yearlings.
Output from his research may provide evidence-based solutions for more sustainable parasite control, and ultimately improve animal health and performance.
Come along and meet Rischi at #BEEF2026 in Teagasc Grange on the 1st of July!
