An Eastern Carpenter Bee (Xylocopa virginica) happens upon a Gray Hairstreak butterfly (Strymon melinus) on a Rattlesnake Master (Eryngium yuccifolium) flower head at the Houston Arboretum & Nature Center, in Houston, TX, USA. The Hairstreak butterfly doesn't look in good health, and from the underside, it's possible to see why. There's a Jagged Ambush Bug (Phymata sp.) feeding on the butterfly.
