Eggfur | Bedrock: Smallest RS NOR Latch (one wide, tileable and silent) @Eggfur | Uploaded October 2020 | Updated October 2024, 9 hours ago.
This is the smallest RS NOR Latch in Minecraft. It's also one-wide, tileable and completely silent. It's a Bedrock exclusive as it uses the "soft inversion" mechanic with pistons and torches.
RS NOR Latches are used detect an input and maintain a steady output. They're different to T Flip Flops, because you need a separate circuit to reset them.
These are useful for memory circuits, selector panels or any system where you want to know something has happened, like an alarm system for your base for example.
