Super Simple Snow Block Farm (1.21+) or snowball farm (1.20+)

Eggfur 2024-05-25 | I show you how to make a really easy snow block farm for v1.21+. Or if you prefer, it can be made as a snowball farm with almost no change (v1.20+)

It works in Minecraft Bedrock (Windows, mobile, PS4/5, XBox and Switch)

The farm takes just a few minutes to build using early game resources and produces 9k block per hour without needing any player interaction. You can build this near your base and have a constant supply of the beautiful snowy building blocks.

The farm will automatically shut off when it's full and start again if you take some blocks out. It really is one of the best sources of blocks in the early and middle game.

I didn't mention it in the video, but you can extend the storage downwards if you want to hold more blocks at a time.

Realistic Slot Machine for Minecraft Bedrock 1.20+

Eggfur 2024-05-19 | This is my realistic, three-reel slot machine, or fruit machine as we call them here in the UK. Perfect if you're building a casino in Minecraft or just on its own as a fun mini game for your friends. It's for Bedrock Edition (windows, Xbox, ps5, switch and mobile)

It is probably the most advanced slot machine in Minecraft, with 3 different wins, including an accumulator jackpot which can pay out massive wins. It features indicator lights to show how big the next jackpot payout will be. That encourages people to gamble, and increases your profits!

The player can choose between manual and auto-play options and the system is fully spam proof.

The owner (you!) can select how much profit you want to make, as well as the prizes paid out for the standard wins. I've used diamonds as the currency in this video, but you can use any stackable item, so if you want it just to be for fun, you could use a cheaper item.

3 Pulse Divider (pulse counter) for Minecraft Bedrock

Eggfur 2024-01-27 | In this video I show you how to make three different pulse dividers (sometimes called pulse counters) for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. The first isn't my design. It's very compact, can count up to 320 pulses, but has a long reset time.

The other two are my own designs. The second is useful for counting up to 8 pulses, and resets faster. The final one is a one wide tileable (1wt) design that has an almost instant reset and can count up to 576 pulses.

I'm sure that one of these will be ideal for your needs.

Cycling Through Multiple Outputs (Minecraft Bedrock)

Randomizer for Minecraft Bedrock - Signal Strength, Probability and Binary

Simple Pulse Multiplier (Minecraft Bedrock)

Bedrock Hidden Key Circuit - with key return

Eggfur 2023-12-17 | This is my tutorial for a hidden key circuit in Minecraft bedrock. It can be configured to accept a "payment" or to return the key to the player. It's completely hidden and no-one will be able to see that there's a key input. No other items are accepted into the system.

this circuit is great for a hidden door, secret base entrance or even as part of a mini game.

Easy Kelp Farm - 9k/h - bonemeal-powered

Eggfur 2023-12-02 | In this video I show you how to make a really simple, but powerful, fully automatic kelp farm that you can build in 5 minutes. It produces up to 9k/h from 9k bonemeal.

It's lossless and can cope with bonemeal arriving at slower rates without wasting any. That can be important if you hook it up to a bonemeal farm which produces less than 9k/h.

It also doesn't use any pistons or minecarts.

Once 1.21 arrives, with auto-crafters, kelp will become a really important fuel source for super-smelters.

1 19+ Simple Villager Breeder

Eggfur 2023-04-15 | ***In 1.20.10-12 and possibly later releases, there is a bug that causes villagers to die when dropped from high up into a water pool: bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-173094 . A simple fix is to place a button in the drop shoot, 2 blocks above the water and place a water source above that***

In this video I show you how to make a simple villager breeder for Minecraft Bedrock Edition. It's designed to be reliable and efficient, There are two versions:

1) A simple manual breeder with a way to extract villagers and filter out any nitwits before you send them to your iron farm, trading hall or crop farms
2) A "pro" version which feeds the villagers automatically to allow you to breed in bulk whilst AFK

Some important reminders from the video:
a) For maximum efficiency and to get the exact number of villagers you want, always feed the breeder villagers with multiples of 12 carrots, potatoes or beetroot - or multiples of 3 bread.
b) Don't give them more than 48 crops or 12 bread in one go in the manual breeder
c) Build your breeder 96+ blocks horizontally or 76+ blocks vertically away from any other villager related stuff (villagers, beds, bells, workstations - unless you really know what you're doing!)

Item Buffer and Batcher

Eggfur 2023-02-19 | This is a simple Item buffer that is easily converted into an item batcher for all versions of Bedrock Edition.

It would also work on Java Edition, if you use a composter on the sticky piston instead of a hopper - but that will provide fewer signal strength options.

The item buffer is used to make sure that there is a defined number of items to be processed by a downstream system before they are forwarded on all items that come in for processing. It works at hopper speed (with an initial delay for the buffering.

The item batcher will group items into a defined number and forward that number of items before collecting a new batch. It's sustained throughput is half hopper speed, but each batch is released at hopper speed.

In both cases the number of items that can be buffered or batched are derived from comparator signal strength.

I hope this proves useful in your farms or circuits!

*** now broken *** 1.19 Realistic Multi-Floor Elevator Bedrock

Eggfur 2023-02-12 | if you've ever wanted to know how to make an elevator in Minecraft 1.19, here's my super simple multi-floor player elevator. It's very fast between floors and very compact, in just a 6x6 space. The elevator will work on any Bedrock platform including MCPE, Mobile, Windows 10, console, XBOX, PlayStation and Switch.

It features a 2x2 player cabin and can be expanded to any number of floors by just repeating the middle floor design. The redstone is very simple, using just torches, pistons and redstone dust. It's two way, allowing you to go up or down at the press of a button.

There are no flying machines. The mechanic used is based on piston translocation, but unlike existing piston translocation elevators, it looks a lot better (there is no visible piston or slime) and it's a lot quieter and easier to build in survival.

This elevator was originally designed in 1.16, but broke in 1.17.30. However, it's now working again in 1.19.60+ (yay)

Smallest Chicken & Egg Farms 1.19: Bedrock Basics

Those last two can both be switchable to egg farm mode and I also show you how to build them without using nether quartz (no comparators, no observers) using a clever 1.19 trick.

How big is a Minecraft village? The surprising truth!

10gt Up/Down Binary Counter - with reset and set bit (jump) functions

Eggfur 2022-06-11 | This is my 10gt (5 redstone tick) up and down binary counter for all Bedrock Edition platforms, including MCPE, Win10, Switch, Xbox and PlayStation.

It can count 2 pulses every second and has an instant carry, which means that the output is always fully synchronized and shows the correct value. It also allows you to set individual bits to jump to a particular value.

It is one wide tileable and can go from 1 to 15 bits. You can also build it 2 wide tileable with up to 8 bits. That would make this very useful as a program counter for a redstone computer.

(Broken in 1.20.40+) Fastest Moss & Bone Meal Farm for Bedrock (11.1k/h profit) - by Zolson012

Eggfur 2022-06-07 | ***Since the changes to water/lava mechanics in 1.20.40+, (apparently to match Java) this farm no longer works***

This is currently the fastest moss and bone meal farm for Bedrock (MCPE, mobile, Xbox, PS4, PS5, Switch and Windows10) for its size

This farm produces 11.1k/h in bone meal profit from a tiny 15x12x15 size and just one source moss block! It's also the most lag efficient too. The design is entirely by Zolson012, who has given me permission to make this tutorial video.

You can also use it as a pure moss farm where it produces ~120,000 moss/azalea items profit/hr.

Just a couple of things to note:
1) Like most moss farms this one is not reload proof - you need to switch it off before leaving the area or it will generate cobblestone. You can fix it by breaking the cobblestone if that does happen.
2) This farm is really fast, and that means it could produce some lag on lower end devices. Test it out with the world download linked below.
3) I haven't included a storage system. You'll have to make your own, or just feed bone meal directly into other farms.

Best Auto Jukebox: Minecraft Bedrock

Eggfur 2022-04-23 | This is my design for a full-featured auto jukebox for all versions of Minecraft Bedrock, including MCPE, Switch, Xbox, Win10 and PlayStation.
What makes this special is that it's fully controllable from the front panel, including turning it on and off, loading and unloading discs as well as skipping songs.

If you just want a small auto jukebox without the special features, I show you how to make my 9 block (3x3x1) version, which is the smallest possible and at the heart of this build. Incidentally it can also be one wide tilable just by using rails on top instead of dust, but who needs a one wide tilable jukebox... right?

LygenCores Smaller (Almost) Perfect Pulse Multiplier

Eggfur 2022-04-03 | I gave out a challenge to viewers in my recent "Perfect" Pulse Multiplier video - to see if they could make it smaller! Well one viewer rose to the challenge and sent me the version he created. Big shout-out to LygenCore.

Like mine, LygenCore's version is 1-wide tilable, runs at 5 pulses per second (4gt) and has an instant reset. It will also output the correct number of pulses based on the number of items you use in the build...

...But, if you want to know why I'm being mean and calling it the "Almost Perfect" pulse multiplier ...check out the video :)

One Shot Shulker Shucker: Showcase (340+/h) Bedrock shulker farm

Eggfur 2022-03-29 | This is a showcase for my *prototype* shulker shell farm that produces over 340 shulker shells per hour from just two shulkers - currently the fastest shulker shell farm on Bedrock Edition!

Shulker farming is only available in the Beta/Preview versions of Minecraft Bedrock Edition at the moment, so this is not a tutorial. There's also a bug that causes this farm to break very rarely and we need to see what happens as Mojang moves this feature into the full production release.

I believe this is a first for Bedrock Edition (MCPE, Win10, XBOX, Playstation and Switch). Not only does it run at 5 pulses per second (every 4gt or every 2 redstone ticks), but it can also be triggered again as soon as it's finished.

There are many things this could be used for, but it would be a great circuit for a one-wide tileable Minecraft shop.

If you know of a way to make it smaller with all the same properties, let me know!!

I give an in-depth explanation of the commands which will hopefully allow you to keep learning from there and progress to other interesting command based projects - like Pandas Dancing on Ice... In particular I explain the slightly confusing caret (^) notation for directional coordinates and how to use the execute command along with teleporting the player in a circle.

Chunk Reload and Relog Detection and Protection

I show ways of detecting when a player has reloaded a chunk, when they've logged back into the world and even when moving away from a particular chunk that you want to protect.

Bedrock: Seamless Hidden Nether Portal

Eggfur 2021-11-24 | This is my take on a seamless hidden Nether portal. It's completely invisible and silent when closed, but quickly opens out into a fully operational portal at the press of a button. All the redstone components are hidden both when it's open and closed.

This works on all Bedrock flavours, including Xbox, PlayStation, MCPE, Switch and Windows10.

As I mention in the video this has been done many times before, but I've never seen one where the wall blocks are all retracted behind the portal to open it. I'm really pleased with the animation and the fact it's seamless.

Bedrock: Smallest Auto Portal

Eggfur 2021-11-22 | This is the smallest auto portal circuit for Minecraft. Impress your friends with a switchable on/off Nether portal.

I also show you a cool trick with Nether portals that can make really interesting aesthetic builds or be used in high efficiency mob farms or maybe even player traps!

Bedrock: Fast Moss Based Bone Meal Farm 1.19

Eggfur 2021-10-26 | This is my new Bone Meal Farm, based on moss, that produces 5,300 bone meal *profit* per hour. It's currently the second fastest moss-based bone meal farm in Minecraft using just one source moss block - and the least laggy for the amount of bone meal you get. I’m able to run at least 6 in my local world with no lag, producing over 30k bone meal per hour! (but that is on a gaming PC)

***In current versions the moss can get stuck on the first hopper after it's washed off the platform. Simple fix seems to be to replace that hopper with ice***

Remember to stop the farm before leaving the area or logging out. The stone generators in the moss farm can produce cobblestone on reload if you don't do this. This is necessary to achieve the rates of this farm. If you forget and do get cobblestone, it's easy to manually clear out any cobblestone when you return to it.

Farm tested on Win10, Realms and BDS, and works on all Bedrock versions.

Flush Seamless Hidden Staircase (Bedrock 1.17+)

Eggfur 2021-09-13 | In this video I show you how to make a really simple flush seamless hidden staircase. It's very compact and easy to build. I then show you how to connect it up using either buttons and a delay circuit, or with two levers: either of which can open and close the staircase!

It was made in Minecraft Bedrock 1.17 and works for all Bedrock variants, including MCPE, XBOX, PS4, PS5, Switch and Windows 10.

Simple Compact Iron Farm Bedrock 1 17+ (survival build)

Eggfur 2021-09-05 | How to build a super simple compact Iron Farm for Bedrock Edition (including MCPE, Mobile, XBOX, PS4, PS5, Switch and Win10).

This farm will work in any version of Minecraft from 1.16+, but it's been specifically designed for the new mechanics coming in 1.17.30 (currently in Beta). This makes Iron Farms more efficient and they can be built smaller without affecting rates. Before 1.17.30 expect to get 120 ingots/h, after 1.17.30 this farm will produce 280 ingots/h. You can build this farm knowing that it will only get better!

Double Piston Extenders - smallest flush, seamless and 1-wide tileable (entityless)

Eggfur 2021-07-25 | I've created some new double piston extenders. These are all flush, seamless, one-wide tileable and pretty fast too. This includes a 3x5x1 design that can be used in any direction: up, down or horizontal. I'm confident that these are the smallest flush, seamless and 1wt too and that the downwards DPE is a new record for Bedrock - but let me know if you know of any smaller ones!

These work on all versions of Bedrock, including MCPE, XBOX, PS4, PS5, Switch and Windows 10.

Dripstone Lava Farm (1.17)

Eggfur 2021-07-13 | This dripstone lava farm for Minecraft 1.17 works on all versions of Bedrock Edition, including MCPE, XBOX, PS4, PS5, Switch and windows 10.

This is a very cool build to impress your friends as well as being a really useful source of lava, without having to visit the Nether or scour the Overworld for lava lakes. I hope you enjoy building it in your world.

It will give you a fully renewable supply of lava presented to you in a cauldron, ready for you to pick up. It's quick to build too. It uses a piston feed tape and double piston extender to cycle the cauldrons.

I created this at the request of astrocowboiR on Reddit, who designed the original Java version and wanted a Bedrock version for his friend ericmelo84. The concept is the same, but the circuitry is of course different to work in Bedrock. Shout out to astro and eric - I hope I've done it justice.

Minecraft Bedrock: Ultimate Vault + Java version world download

Eggfur 2021-06-26 | This is the Ultimate Vault for Minecraft Bedrock (MCPE, XBOX, PS4, PS5, Switch and windows 10). With a World Download for the Java version too!

Today I'm presenting a super-secure password combination lock that requires you to enter an exact item password in the correct order to trigger an output. The password can be any combination of stackable items, included renamed items, and so is much more secure than single "renamed" item locks or button combination locks. You could use this circuit for a secure vault in your world or in adventure maps for item quests, for example.

This is a collaboration with the very talented Gizmo from the channel GizmosBoon, who has also made a Java version (see links below). In fact, this is Gizmo's design and he very kindly allowed me to do this tutorial on my channel. I added a few security features at the end, so keep watching to see how I turned the password circuit into the ultimate vault.

***Of course, block breaking exists, so if you really want this to be completely secure you need to enable adventure mode for anyone in the area***

(Broken in 1.17.30+) Bedrock Multi-floor elevator: 1.17 fast, simple, expandable and compact!

if you've ever wanted to know how to make an elevator in Minecraft 1.17, here's my super simple multi-floor player elevator. It's very fast between floors and really simple to build in just a 6x6 space. The elevator will work on any Bedrock platform including MCPE, Mobile, Windows 10, console, XBOX, PlayStation and Switch.

It features a 2x2 player cabin and can be expanded to any number of floors by just repeating the middle floor design. The redstone is very simple, using just torches, pistons and redstone dust. It's two way, allowing you to go up or down at the press of a button.

There are no flying machines. The mechanic used is based on piston translocation, but unlike existing piston translocation elevators, it looks a lot better (there is no visible piston or slime) and it's a lot quieter and easier to build in survival.

Advanced Villager Pods for Iron Farms (10, 20, 30 or 40 villagers).

Eggfur 2021-05-31 | In this video I show you how to build a reliable villager pod for your Bedrock iron farm, whether that is for 10, 20 , 30 or even 40 villagers.

Unlike the standard designs, my pod allows all the villagers to be in a single 1x1 space. This makes loading villagers easier, means you don't have to spend ages placing and replacing workstations in the right pod and guarantees that villagers can't cross-link to a workstation in another pod.

if you have an iron farm where golems aren't spawning and you only get string, this can often be easily fixed using these villager pod designs.

Thanks to Boxing Kanga and GoldenHelmet403 for letting me know I was wrong about golems being unable to spawn in portal blocks. They can. I'd performed my testing with a 3-high portal, and they need 4 blocks to spawn in. They are removed immediately from the village when they pass through the portal.

In the current version, no villagers will work in the rain as far as iron farms are concerned, so the choice of workstation doesn't matter from a rain perspective. However, building your iron farm in a dry biome: Desert, Savanna will make it more efficient.

Intelligent Hopper Minecart Loader for Hopper Line (Bedrock & Java)

It's designed for when items are fed into the loader using a hopper line and uses a hopper minecart to load them up and carry them to somewhere else, whether that's the top of your mine or to distribute items into your super smelter.

It has a number of advantages over the currently used designs. The main advantage is that the minecart doesn't need to be full when it leaves. It can cope with mixed loads, partial loads or full loads - and can detect when there is nothing more that it can pickup. There's no extra waiting time.

New! Overflow proof stackable item sorter.

Eggfur 2021-02-28 | This is the best Item Sorter design for 64 and 16 stackable items. It's an improvement on the normal design because it is overflow proof and means you only lose 1 item in the filter itself - rather than 42 in the standard design. Unlike other ways of using fewer filter items, this won't break if your chests fill up or the filter gets overloaded.

It's still small and cheap - even cheaper when you consider you're saving 41 of every item you filter.

Note: this works on MCPE, Mobile, XBOX, Playstation, PS4, PS5, Switch and Windows 10. It will not work on Java as it uses some very specific Bedrock features.

Advanced Automated Trading Hall 1.19 - auto villager loading, trade re-rolling and zombification

A change to how zombies target mobs in 1.19.50 means that the design needs a small modification. The blocks between villager cells at foot level should be changed for top slabs on both sides of every villager. It might be easier to do this from below if you can avoid the zombie :)
I'd also recommend having two beds in this trading hall. That prevents the village from being destroyed if the villager connected to a single bed is zombified or killed. By having two beds, the village stays intact and your workstations won't get scrambled
Also, if you want to get a zombie to carry a sword, it is easiest to do this by dispensing the sword onto the zombie.

Welcome guys and gals, this is the full tutorial for my Bedrock Edition Advanced Trading Hall for 1.16.100 or later, with lots of automation for loading villagers, re-rolling their trades, individually zombifying them for maximum permanent discounts. I've even added an emergency pull cord in case some baddies get into your trading hall and start attacking your hard earned mending villager.

It will work on any Bedrock Edition platform including MCPE/Mobile, XBOX, PS4, PS5, Windows 10 and Switch.

Being the advanced trading hall, this is a bit more complicated to build than my simple trading hall, but the automation it gives you will be well worth the effort. No more breaking and replacing a lectern 50 times to get the enchanted book you want. No more wrangling zombies to attack your villagers and almost zero effort to get villagers into your trading hall.

Just a note for those on lower simulation distances (6 or less): You can't be 100 blocks away from your breeder and within simulation distance, so you'll have to follow your minecart to the breeder, or build your breeder in the sky (at least 76 blocks) above the trading hall with a way to call down one villager at a time.

Finding Chunk Borders - with coordinates

Eggfur 2021-02-15 | Hi Everyone - a really quick video to help you find chunk borders. This is really important for a lot of redstone and villager based builds.

This is a simple method that just uses your coordinates to calculate the chunk edges. There are plenty of other methods out there - although as of 1.16.200 chunk border shader packs don't work on Windows 10.

I like this method because it's quick and easy and doesn't need you to gather or place any additional blocks in your world.

Technically it's a seamless, hipster, gravity block door. Which means that all the redstone is hidden below the ground and you can't see any redstone components when the door is fully open or fully closed.
This door is expandable to *any size*. It closes almost instantly and uses fully vanilla survival mechanics (no trickery, but some unintended mechanics!)

Simple Villager Trading Hall - individual curing discounts (Win10/MCPE/XBOX/PS4/PS5/Switch)

This is my Bedrock Edition 1.17+ simple trading hall. Works on all Bedrock platforms. It's easily expandable to be as large as you want. Drop me a comment below to let me know if you've built this! Read below for my advanced trading hall as well!

The key feature, is that it makes use of the new curing mechanics in Bedrock, where each villager has to be zombified and cured multiple times to give permanent, maximum discounts. My design automates the conversion of villagers you select to zombie villagers, ready for curing!

It's really easy to build, and I show you a simple way to get the villagers in to the trading hall as well, using minecarts.

Once you have a trading hall set up, you might never need to go looking for diamonds again, as it will give you enchanted, diamond armour, weapons and tools in exchange for just one emerald each. As well as lots of other rare and useful items.

***Zombification Fix***
In recent 1.19 versions there has been a change to how zombie's target other mobs. We need to make a simple change to fix this:
1) Replace the block directly behind each villager's legs with a top slab
2) Remove the block below the newly placed top slab (it's directly above the rails)
3) Add some blocks to the back to prevent anything wandering on to your rails

***Additional Tips***
1) Use two beds in this trading hall. That means that if the villager who is linked to the bed is ever zombified or killed, it doesn't reset the village, as that could cause your workstations to get scrambled
2) If you're having difficulty getting a zombie to pick up a sword, use a dispenser to force it on to him

Advanced villager breeder - showcase (80/h)

What makes it "advanced"? I wanted a breeder that is built in the air, as this optimises production of villager babies. It's fully controllable from the ground though and allows you to order an exact number of villagers. These are then delivered to a secure holding chamber on the ground, with an easy minecart system to take villagers out as you need them.

The control panel allows you to control all aspects of the farm, and receives feedback from the breeder at the top to ensure you know what is going on, without having to go up to the top ever.

But, I also included a multi-level elevator which allows food to be carried up to one level and the player to be taken to a different one.

You could even turn this into an on-demand villager shop, swapping the input system with an item sorter collecting diamonds.
