For the past year, he has attended a bakery course at Kevin Street Technical College while working at the Gateaux factory in Finglas. In contrast to many of his school friends, he chose an apprenticeship, because he wanted a better kind of job.
One that has some prospects in it.
Timmy Geoghegan has found staff at Gateaux, one of Ireland's largest cake manufacturers, to be professional and welcoming.
