It’s a good time to reassess your Box hedging and topiary. Should you keep it all and deal with the box moth and box blight?
Bunny has a lot of box plants in her garden, her mother grew them commercially on her nursery. Due to the ravages of box blight and box moth she has decided to reduce the amount and replace certain areas with other plants.
In key areas she will keep it, spraying up to 4 times a year with Dipel (another option is Xentari) and twice a year with Box T Pro Press, a hormone disrupter. Using the two products together should give you 80% plus control.
Other strategies are discussed. Any feed back on other ways that viewers have dealt with these pests always gratefully received!
