Amber gates everything in Beast of Reincarnation. Every weapon upgrade, every purchase from the merchant, every enhancement tier. This is the farming method I use, the two items that multiply what you earn, and the route that lets you rinse and repeat it in under a minute.
The core loop is simple: find a spot that respawns enemies when you rest, equip both amber boosters, clear it, fast travel back, rest, repeat. My spot is on the left side of the map in the mountain region, two easy enemies plus a bigger one up the bridge, and it pays roughly 222 per pair with the sword equipped versus about 150 without it.
Then four things worth knowing that most guides skip. Where the Big Dipper actually comes from, because it is not a sword you find in the world. That the amber bonus lasts 60 seconds and not 60 minutes, which completely changes how you run it. The exact charm that stacks with the sword.
