Bead embroidered sneakers are something I always wanted to try. I didn't want to bead directly on to the shoe, so I made a pattern with masking tape, and bead embroidered on a piece of Peltex cut from the tape pattern. Being raised in a bump shop has it's advantages, I guess! I watched my father tape up countless automobiles just like this before painting them.
Masking tape, seed beads, 8lb Fireline, and Peltex by Pellon were used.
