Researchers at the University of Kentucky analyzed handwritten journals from nuns in the 1930s.

They sorted them by one metric: HAPPINESS

The results were staggering:

The happiest nuns lived 10 years longer.

54% reached age 94.

Only 15% of the unhappy nuns did the same.

Happiness isn’t a reward for a long life. It’s the FUEL for one.

Happy people don’t have the best of everything. They make the best of everything.
