Optimus and Svea fuel caps have a SRV (safety release valve) inside them. When the SRV pips get hard after 10-20 years, the SRVs tend to leak or not open when needed. (Uh-oh!) 😲
These should be serviced. The hardened pips can be stubborn to remove from the cups, but here's an easy way to get the job done that I show you in this video.
