An unhoused man has been left with "life-altering" injuries after a vicious beating in a troubled Nanaimo, B.C. neighbourhood.

Surveillance video was shared with Global News and handed over to the RCMP. It shows a small gathering outside a gym and tattoo parlour on Nicol Street when suddenly a man reaches over and attacks another man, pushing him down, and punching and kicking him for several minutes.
