Bayfront Park in Daphne, Alabama, on the shore of Mobile Bay is known for it's beauty and sunsets. Adjacent to it is Village Point Park Preserve, a plot of land set aside to remain natural. A boardwalk from Bayfront Park and a walking trail with access from Main Street in Daphne, allow enjoyment of scenes and sounds of a wetland estuary. From tiny insects to an occasional alligator, wildlife abounds where Yancey Branch creek reaches the coast of Mobile Bay.
