The footage tested was from either Update 2 or Update 3 on all four consoles. 64 player Conquest and Breakthrough modes were tested.

PS4 uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 1920x1080 and the lowest resolution found being approximately 1600x900. Pixel counts at or near 1920x1080 seem to be common on PS4.
Xbox One S uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 1920x1080 and the lowest resolution found being 1280x720.
PS4 Pro uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 3200x1800 and the lowest resolution found being 1920x1080. Pixel counts at 3200x1800 seem to be rare on PS4 Pro.
Xbox One X uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 3840x2160 and the lowest resolution found being 2560x1440. Pixel counts at 3840x2160 seem to be rare on Xbox One X.
All four consoles appear to be using a form of checkerboard rendering to reach the stated resolutions.
There are graphical differences between the console generations. Some of the improvements that the Xbox Series X has over the Xbox One X are: improved undergrowth quality, improved ground detail, improved indirect shading and the Xbox Series X has screen-space reflections which aren't present on the Xbox One X bit.ly/31rEI8f
