Back then i made a gameplay video of this one particular mod known as "unkNOW" mod, but i didn't gave it a decent review of it, today as of 2025, i took the chance to revisit it and i still think this mod is trully good and here's why:
- First and foremost, the OVERALL PRESENTATION: The mod is kinda almost like a combination of Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142, why you may ask? because of mainly two reasons, the UI presented here and some maps, which use the 2142 ones, for me its fine, as i never once played Battlefield 2142, which i might do this year.
- WEAPONS: For once in a BF2 mod, some of the weapon models, reloads and sounds are actually unique and not the BF4 weapons we are used to see many times in other BF2 mods that i played, they do pack a punch and feel good shooting them, also the weapon selection screen is different from the Vanilla BF2 weapon selection one, making it easier to choose your personal favourite gun to kill the opposite team.
-MAP CONTENT: The mod comes with a staggering number of 50 maps (51 MAPS IN TOTAL) which is more than enough to replay the mod several times for hours
