Kits World | Battle of the Flashbacks | Rutherfurd vs. Lynch vs. Kerr | BookTube @kitsworld | Uploaded October 2020 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
A detailed discussion of the way three different authors, Edward Rutherfurd, Scott Lynch, and Katharine Kerr, incorporated time-jumps and flashbacks into their books, and how the methods used in two of those works caused me to lose interest and DNF, and how one author's superior time-jump skills won me over and caused me to become a lifelong fan.
The books being discussed are: Sarum, by Edward Rutherfurd; The Lies of Locke Lamora, by Scott Lynch, and The Deverry Series, by Katharine Kerr.
Kit's World is a proud supporter of the Deverry books, and will continue to shamelessly plug these most excellent and underappreciated novels.
