Note: You must complete ALL OTHER OUTBREAKS to unlock this Invasion.
Filibuster Obstructa is back and ready for revenge and oh boy does he come swinging. Unlike the previous bouts with Filibuster, the enemy limit this time is 17. No more boss rush style gameplay, this is a real stage with modern ZL magnifications backing him up and you best be prepared. Not only that, he is boosted to 200%! Supported by UltraBaaBaas and Zollows throughout, there are also 3 main waves to this boss fight. The first is against a 180% Deathshund. Yeah here's where the killing Deathshund quickly thing comes in. There's a setup for Weedwacker I like to use so I don't have to rely on Abaha and chip damage to take down Deathshund. If you fail to proc Freeze here, you die.
Wave 2 is an Ostromeda followed shortly by a Dread Bore. You want to push Filibuster to the enemy base so he won't hit your base when you inevitably lose ground here, but not so much that you trigger the anti-cheese UBBs and Zollows and die. How can you control this? You honestly can't. Make sure to Hblast the Dread Bore right away so you get that burst damage in. In most cases, if you fail to Zkill Dread Bore here, you die. Newton helps a ton here to keep resetting Filibuster though if you can get him close enough.
Wave 3 is a single Lord Gravey. While he isn't a threat innately, if Filibuster is a significant distance behind Gravey already charging an attack, you die. If you didn't bring enough ranged DPS for Gravey, you die. If you fail to Zkill Gravey, you die. If the rest of the stage didn't kill your run, this is probably what will. Ideally you are close to the enemy base when Gravey comes out so you can lure Filibuster in front of Gravey should you need extra time after the Filibuster attack lands. Finish off Gravey and you still have anti-cheese to not die to. What a stage.

Recommended Ubers:
- Anti-Alien/Zombie (preferably Toxic Immune)

There are 2 rewards for completing this stage. The first is a Legend Ticket. Pretty self-explanatory why this is worth it to get.
The second is that completing this stage unlocks Metafilibuster's Talents. You still need to complete A Whole New World to unlock Metafilibuster if you haven't done so already.
Talents:
- Massive Damage (100 NP)
- Freeze Duration Up: +0.3~3 seconds (175 NP)
- Cooldown Reduction: -2~20 seconds (175 NP)
- Attack Up: +8~80% (175 NP)
- HP Up: +8~80% (175 NP)
Filibuster gains the coveted 80% stat boosts similar to Valkyrie and Cat God, boosting his HP and damage both to 97,200 at Level 50, bringing his raw DPS to 6,538. Compared to another endgame superbackliner, Newton, he has 7,200 DPS including his Miniwave, so this value is actually pretty respectable. Not only that, but Massive Damage boosts Filibuster's effective damage and DPS vs Traitless and Relic to 291,600 damage and 19,614 DPS. A Massive Damage S orb for Relic can further boost this to 340,200 damage and 22,883 DPS. Combined with the total 7 second Freeze on every hit, Filibuster's attacks hit like a truck and open the path for your other units to deal a ton more damage on top of the nuke Filibuster already dropped.
Does this finally redeem Filibuster? On paper, absolutely. These are incredibly respectable numbers for his range and he should be capable of countering Relics and Traitless that other non-uber units struggle with. But here's where reality sets back in. Filibuster still has a 12 second foreswing with NO PIERCING RANGE WHATSOEVER. What makes Newton broken is that he has a ton of piercing range on top of his strong numbers, allowing him to get value no matter if you're playing offensively or defensively. Filibuster cannot push forward AT ALL, forcing him to play on defense. His theoretical great matchups into enemies like Master A and Camelle don't work in practice because he cannot hit them. If you bring a remotely decent offense, Filibuster will still miss most attacks and gain no benefit from these frankly godly talents.
I still can't ignore that Filibuster can be used properly for a defensive baiting strategy against more aggressive Traitless and Relic enemies, but even that is risky with his 1 KB count, even if his HP is on the higher end for Legend units. I have to give props to PONOS though. They did what they could with a unit who was doomed by flaws Talents could not fix and made something you could even remotely justify. These Talents are amazing for Filibuster. Unfortunately, the fact is that these are Talents on Filibuster, and until he either gets an Ultra Form or direct buff giving him piercing range at the very least, these Talents are purely for fun and I would not recommend them.
also the cooldown reduction talent does like nothing lol don't waste your np on that

![Battle Cats - Summer Break Cats - Last-Minute Homework
Just as the last summer event gacha ends, a new one starts with significantly less event tickets to go through. The stage itself is pretty easy with the main barrier for speedrunning being the relative lack of cash to get extremely early to get Bahamut out. Train can secure cash, but youre gonna have to wait for most of it to come in.
The main reason Im uploading this is to talk about the event gacha. This event gacha uses Legend Nets as tickets and this stage drops them as follows:
Legend Net x2 - 40%
Legend Net x3 - 60%
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
The event gacha has the following drop pools, with a guaranteed random unit every 10 rolls:
2.5% - Pool 1 (5,000 XP)
62.5% - Pool 2 (Speed Up | Cat CPU | 10,000 XP | 30,000 XP)
23% - Pool 3 (Rich Cat | Cat Jobs | Sniper Cat | 100,000 XP)
10% - Pool 4 (Kabuto Cat | Kuwagata Cat | Ancient Egg: N202 | Ancient Egg: N208)
2% - Pool 5 (1,000,000 XP)
Each units level cap is as follows:
Kabuto - +45
Kuwagata - +45
Egg N202 - +25
Egg N208 - +10
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Golden Kabuto Cat (Lv30/50+45):
HP - 12,750 / 30,562
KBs - 2
Range - 140 (Single)
Speed - 7
Damage - 2,550 / 6,112
DPS - 1,627 / 3,901
Cost - 540
Cooldown - 4.87 sec
Abilities:
- Strong vs Red/Dark
- Freeze Immune
Kabuto is a very generic Strong meatshield for Red and Dark enemies that used to have subpar stats, but now that its max level has gotten so high, its a bit more acceptable as a unit. The price tag is a bit steep for a meatshield of this quality, especially with the undesirable 2 KB count and slow speed. The main competition comes from talented Flying Ninja Cat, but Kabuto comes with the advantage of not requiring NP investment, albeit for a much worse result. I would still struggle to call this unit good though.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
King Kuwagata Cat (Lv30/50+45):
HP - 12,750 / 30,562
KBs - 3
Range - 140 (Single)
Speed - 15
Damage - 2,550 / 6,112
DPS - 1,627 / 3,901
Cost - 540
Cooldown - 4.87 sec
Abilities:
- Strong vs Floating/Alien
- Slow Immune
Kuwagata is a counterpart to Kabuto, differing only in abilities, speed, and KB count. While the Floating/Alien targeting and higher speed are more favorable for Kuwagata, the KB count increase to 3 is not. Kuwagata also has less direct competition as there are no other meatshields to target the combination of Floating and Alien, but like Kabuto, meets competition for the singular traits. Both units share single trait competition with Rapper and Jetpack, so its unlikely you will want either for just one of the traits.

Like all other event Eggs, Ancient Egg: N202 and N208 require 10 Red and 10 Purple Behemoth Stones each to evolve into Armored Firefly Cat and Combat Crawfish Cat respectively.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Armored Firefly Cat (Lv30/50+25):
HP - 12,750 / 26,812
KBs - 1
Range - 210
Speed - 10
Damage - 1,122 / 2,360
DPS - 561 / 1,180
Cost - 450
Cooldown - 4.87 sec
Abilities:
- 50% Weaken to 50% damage for 3(3.6) sec vs Red/Alien
- Behemoth Slayer (5% Dodge) [21,250 / 44,686 HP | 2,805 / 5,900 Damage (1,402 / 2,950 DPS)]
Armored Firefly is a very cheap melee Weakener with a bit of bulk. However, this bulk isnt particularly impressive on its own, often still dying way before it can reach any non-melee Red or Alien enemies. While the Weaken is consistent and effective, often maintaining 100% uptime on its own, this doesnt matter if Firefly doesnt reach their target. Behemoth Slayer does help in this regard though as with higher levels, Firefly can actually tank their way to their Behemoth targets save Bunaglios, all of which can be Weakened. This does come with the additional caveat that Soap Cat also exists for Aliens and can Weaken them and Courier exists for Red and annihilates them.
The true primary use of Armored Firefly is for Weaken Dojo score farming, as Firefly inflicts Weaken consistently and frequently and is very spammable. This makes it ideal for Weaken dojos with Red and/or Alien peons. Less than the ideal outcome for a unit, but its usage nonetheless.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Combat Crawfish Cat (Lv30/50+10):
HP - 10,200 / 19,200
KBs - 2
Range - 160 (Single)
Speed - 33
Damage - 1,700 / 3,200
DPS - 515 / 969
Cost - 480
Cooldown - 5.87 sec
Abilities:
- Resist vs Floating/Angel
- Behemoth Slayer (5% Dodge) [17,000 / 32,000 HP | 4,250 / 8,000 Damage (1,287 / 2,424 DPS)]
Combat Crawfish attempts to be the definitive meatshield for Floating/Angel Behemoth enemies. This is completely foiled by the existence of Ramen for Angels, who Crawfish is worse than against even Rajakong. This is due to Crawfishs extended 5.87 sec cooldown and higher cost. Even against Floating Behemoths, Rapper exists with better cooldown and combat capability and Crawfishs extra HP does not help against Ensanglion. Crawfish has too poor stats to work outside of Behemoth targets and barely scrapes up enough effective HP to compete against non-Behemoth Slayers against said Behemoths. Oh and it has 2 KBs lol.
