Testing the NiCd 4.8V battery backup inverter from the 2x 58W fluorescent fixture. What's inside, including the schematic. How does a Royer oscillator work and the voltage waveforms in it on an oscilloscope. Note: This is the resonant version of the Royer oscillator, not the original saturable-core transformer version, so more accurately it should be called a Baxandall oscillator.
