Pulling up Batman today, the 1990 arcade game based on Tim Burton's film, developed by Numega and published by Atari Games.
That be careful line you hear on the attract screen is actual digitized audio pulled straight from Michael Keaton himself, and the whole game leans on movie audio like that throughout, mixing a side scrolling beat em up with platforming sections and first person vehicle stages where you take control of the Batmobile and the Batwing. I am fighting through Joker's goons here using batarangs, the batrope, and gas grenades, working through stages like these Gotham City streets all the way to the cathedral finale, with a genuinely accurate rendition of Danny Elfman's film score playing throughout.
What makes this one wild is just how rare it actually is. This game only ever shipped as a conversion kit, and rumor has it only around 1000 units were ever made, one of which supposedly ended up in Michael Jackson's hands. It never got an official home console port either, which is crazy considering how massive Batman was at the time. Konami was actually working on their own arcade game based on the same movie around the same period, but Atari beat them to it, which is a big part of why this exists at all.
