Welcome to Material Musings, where you can create batik-inspired fabric using a simple wax-resist technique, leftover inks, shimmer sprays and fabric dye.
In this video, I share how I apply wax to cotton fabric, blend the colors and create some lovely batik inspired effects.
This is a great way to use the supplies you already have and create unique fabric for mixed-media art, textile collage, slow stitching or art journaling.
