The 51st segment for my speedrun of Baten Kaitos Origins.
This fight was well worth the week it took to get it.
First off, at the start I buy an Attack Aura II (that I was finally able to purchase after the Holoholo Jungle). With enough excess damage, it allows me to beat this fight in three THGs instead of four. Since it lasts for ten battle minutes, it also lets me beat *ULTRASPOILERSBOSS* in three THGs instead of four and *might* let me beat Shanath faster. Well worth the 15 seconds and 800 Gold it took to get it.
As for the boss, I had, as stated earlier, an amazing fight. I managed to do enough excess damage so he died immediately after the third THG (which usually doesnt happen). One highlight is at the end, when all characters are in red and I know he is about to attack, I correctly predict who to potion.
