In this video, I discuss basic Bitcoiner beliefs being betrayed by Bitcoin Core supporters. It's very instructive to see how many of these same people viewed UTXO set bloat and non-monetary data usage in 2013-2015 versus today.
There is a huge betrayal of basic Bitcoin principles that needs to be reversed. BIP-110 is the best way to do this.
Some fundamental Bitcoin principles from the past 15 years:
1) Keep your on-chain footprint as small as possible
2) Minimize UTXO set bloat
3) Minimize excessive non-monetary data
4) Show community hostility towards anyone who abuses the chain in these ways
Not investment advice! Consult a financial advisor.
