In this video, I discuss fake pubkeys and false dichotomies when it comes to fighting spam on Bitcoin.
It's a false dichotomy to assert that spammers will just use fake pubkeys if you don't give them large op returns. In fact, there is at least a third possibility: that they will leave Bitcoin entirely, like Vitalik Buterin did in 2014.
