One time during high school, I pretended to be able to speak Japanese to impress a girl. I could mimic it quite well but it was all gibberish. Well, unbeknownst to me, she was fluent in Japanese. The thing is, she never told me.
She never...told me. She just kept letting me do it. Oh my god. When I found out, I felt like such a stupidass. Whelp, not much has changed!
