Composed the same "year of the piano" as "Out of Doors". Couple of interesting things; Bartok specified Bösendorfer imperial grand with the extra notes in the bass (sorry, here we've got a sampled Fazioli); that towards the end of the second movement (8:12). Third movement, the braying donkey; never let it be said Mr B did not have a sense of humor.
