*ABOUT THIS FILM*
____________________

Gylfie & Dryer have already raised two chicks this season, one of their own, named Uno, and a rescued chick named Lucky. Now here they are again attempting a second brood.

Barn owl parents
Uno is almost two months old and is yet to fledge the nest, but her parents are already busy planning for a new family.

Egg laid
After spending a lot of time with her mate Dryer in Beech Stump, Gylfie has now laid her first egg. Watch her settle down to brood it with pride.

Beech stump
This nest is normally used by the tawny owl pair Luna & Bomber, and whilst this potentially could mean trouble for Gylfie, it is a nice sized box and means we will have good views of the chicks as they grow.

Older bird
Gylfie is now getting quite old - she had her first brood here in 2018 - and only one of her last clutch hatched out. It will be interesting to see how she copes with this late brood.

Barn owl eggs
Barn owls normally lay every 2/3 days so keep your eye on the livestream!
