Barn owls Gylfie & Dryer have a chick at last.
This is the first chick from three eggs to hatch. If a second chick is to hatch it could be tomorrow!

Will there be more owl chicks?
It is uncertain whether this owlet is from the second or third egg, but it is now 39 days since the first egg was laid. This suggests that the first egg has failed and means she will only have one, or two, chicks.
How long does Gylfie normally incubate
Gylfie normally incubates eggs for around 30 days, but her longest incubation was in 2018 when just one chick, Solo, hatched after 35 days from a clutch of three eggs
How long has Gylfie incubated these eggs
If this chick is from the second egg to be laid, tomorrow it will be 35 days since it was laid.
If the chick is from the third egg, then the incubation was 33 days.
