The Snow Joe SJ617E snow thrower is a good deal if you are looking for something that is small, and easy to store away when not in use. This is a corded model, so that does limit you to how far you can go with it. However, if you have a short distance to clear between the machine and an outlet, this is a good buy and will do well with clearing light, fluffy snow upto 8-inches deep.
