Dorian’s style, which became known as the ‘Yates Row’, are performed with body more upright which puts the lower back in a safer position and the lats in a mechanically stronger position.
It can be performed with either an underhand or overhand grip.
Think of your hands as hooks and you should be rowing with your elbows and driving through to your lats. In order to get a full contraction of the lats, the spine needs to be slightly arched, also keep your head up and look infront of you.
