finale pack complete! this level is almost good but it has a wonky janky call of duty ghosts splitscreen with your sibling dual at 20 i have NO idea what the point of that was, even if the effect wasnt there i dont quite get why you would make a dual like that its not satisfying to learn or to do repeatedly it doesnt sync it doesnt make the level better it doesnt even really look cool it looks out of place. other than the dual, the level is pretty good! is what i would say if the ending wasnt silent circles difficulty and im wave carried so theoretically this shouldnt be that hard but unfortunately it was. the first part of the ending is tough but not the worst thing ever, it has the weird upward mini wave thing and some slightly annoying releases but its doable. then you have the rainbow part which has one really ass click at 89 and then for some reason the final saw gap of the straight fly at 93 the saws basically disappear while your colors are inverted idk how you're meant to be able to see that but my point is this level is highkey ruined by the ending, because i can even look past the janky memory dual because its semi consistent once you know what you're doing but if im gonna do all that just to die to the ending 3 times in a row then why did you even make this level?
anyway the rest of it is pretty good and i like the deco and the song quite a bit

Barbaros Finale is pretty fun but someone please let me know if this is a skill issue, on my life the ENTIRE level plays itself right up until you get to the 50 wave. i am severly terminally disabled at D-block waves i literally cannot do them to save my life but i feel like the gaps in this wave are way tighter than anything else present across the entire rest of the level. the last wave has the portal stuff which is only annoying because the spikes are nearly invisible but other than that this level is pretty good. i would say only do it if you're really good at wave otherwise it might be miserable. (i got mega unlucky on this somehow also my power went out in the middle of playing it so my attempts just arent there this is an estimate)

DMG CTRL is really good! Super fun skill based level, it has a few chokepoints but nothing super experience ruining. its all kinda hard anyway so nothing feels out of place. good song, neat deco

Enjoyment: 7.5/10

STRAIN is super cool its one of the most consistent levels ive played. super short (weirdly built) and easier predrop and then its super fast and a lot harder but very consistent and stays fun the whole way through. similar to explicit but way way WAY easier gaps the waves are not chokepointy i'd say the balancing is a whole lot better in this level. i can't quite explain how i fluked it and still took 300 more attempts than explicit when this level is noticeably easier but maybe im dumb who knows
-
Enjoyment: 10/10
Worst Death: 53%
Attempts: 1,057 MORE THAN DMG CTRL HOW

squeak is cool its probably a tiny bit underrated but basically the entire bottom 50 levels is like the same difficulty lol. fun click patterns tho this level was really good

Enjoyment: 7/10
Worst Death: 76%

End of Build Details
Yeah so after the endless struggle that was my first time beating Radahn, I somehow managed to replay the entire DLC in NG+, die to every boss, and then proceed to beat Radahn on my very first try. Ironic that the only boss I didnt die to in the DLC was the hardest one. Ive definitely changed my opinion on this boss, and thankfully its for the better. I previously said I loved his first phase but hated his second one as it was too demanding. What I should have said is that the learning curve is extremely demanding and feels impossible for a pretty long stretch of time, but once you know what youre doing, the entire fight is genuinely very fun. Massive difficulty spike between the two phases, but still incredible. I didnt think I would say this, but he might be in the Top 5 most fun fights in the entire game up there with Godfrey and Mohg. Still, its not perfect. The blinding visuals can genuinely be a problem for a lot of people. Sometimes he springs into another attack right after his Bloodflame explosion and if hes right behind it then you have very little time to even see what hes doing, let alone react to it. The second phase is where the visuals shine in a good way from a spectacle standpoint, but in a bad way from a gameplay standpoint. A large majority of his attacks have the AOE after-effects that can also be extremely bright and cover most of his attacks. In addition to being covered by lights, sometimes he can start attacks facing away from you, obstructing the telegraph even more, which can lead to getting bodied by attack you couldnt see even if you tried. And in my opinion, the quick triple slash is still the worst thing about him. It wasnt a huge problem here since I can guard with my left hand and take a lot less damage, but its still damage. It would be nice if there was a dodge method I could count on every time, rather than expecting to take massive damage every time he uses that attack. As it stands now, its a near frame perfect timing that requires the right positioning before he even begins the attack, so sometimes theres quite literally nothing I can do. Anyway, still love the music, and Im glad I got to replay this fight and enjoy it this time, even if it lasted a hell of a lot shorter than I expected.
