This level is super fun and consistent once you get it down. The predrop can be annoying before it gets consistent, but after a while you pass it every attempt, and from there on out its pure bliss. The entire drop section and everything else is such a blast to play, it's always consistent (except for that one part) and the gameplay itself is incredibly satisfying and makes you feel like you're good at the game for doing it well. My experience was slightly soured due to me having to beat it twice (fluking the last wave and then proceeding to die at 89% twice while trying to rebeat) but I still love the level regardless. The song is mostly fun to listen to while you're playing especially 55-100, and I haven't even mentioned the deco yet, which is why I say best NC level. To me, this looks like what Sonic Wave Infinity should have been. It feels way more refined and generally looks twice as good all around. It also has a super nice endscreen that's just as good as SWI's, and of course, its WAY more accessible. I got frustrated at times but it was rarely the level itself that was upsetting me. My own decision to absolutely throw every second wave attempt is what set me off the most, which is completely a skill issue. There are hard clicks, but I was consistently passing all of them and dying to the easy ones. I think the first wave is miles harder than the second wave, which is actually easier than the last wave in my opinion. The last wave has the added bonus of nerves, but overall just has harder gameplay. The last wave is composed of a few really hard clicks, whereas the second wave stays fairly balanced the whole way through. And of course, the first wave is the longest and also has the rooftop headhitting concussing spam that every sonic wave variant needs to have, coupled with the entire second half of that wave. But like I said, all of it gets consistent, especially when you're nearing your second completion. This might sound cliche but I was SHOCKED at how fast I beat this. In only a few hours, I was able to get 72% and 63-100, achieving two crossing runs on my first day playing. This was about 3,000 attempts in. The next day, I got 75% and then proceeded to fluke the entire last wave with crazy nerves, with my "final" attempt count being 4,192. Mind you, this level is in my top 10. Let's see how my other attempt counts compare in my top 10
1 - The Golden: 22,154
2 - Promethean: 13,500
3 - Cold Sweat: 23,938
4 - Crimson Planet: 24,681
5 - Cognition: 58,888
6 - Cosmic Cyclone: 4,192
7 - RUST: 13,105
8 - The Rupture: 13,672
9 - Bloodlust: if i had to guess probably like 40 or 50K
10 - Kowareta: 14,523
Yeah so you can kinda understand why I'm a little perplexed seeing as how Cosmic Cyclone is the only level in my Top 10 that took under 13,000 attempts, let alone 5K. With the rebeat, I did cross the 5K threshold, but even so, it's still a very low attempt count by my standards. Regardless, another extreme done, and I had a lot of fun with this one. I would totally recommend this to someone trying to improve their wave skill. It's fair in a way that you don't see with a whole lot of wave levels nowadays.

End of Build Details
Yeah so after the endless struggle that was my first time beating Radahn, I somehow managed to replay the entire DLC in NG+, die to every boss, and then proceed to beat Radahn on my very first try. Ironic that the only boss I didnt die to in the DLC was the hardest one. Ive definitely changed my opinion on this boss, and thankfully its for the better. I previously said I loved his first phase but hated his second one as it was too demanding. What I should have said is that the learning curve is extremely demanding and feels impossible for a pretty long stretch of time, but once you know what youre doing, the entire fight is genuinely very fun. Massive difficulty spike between the two phases, but still incredible. I didnt think I would say this, but he might be in the Top 5 most fun fights in the entire game up there with Godfrey and Mohg. Still, its not perfect. The blinding visuals can genuinely be a problem for a lot of people. Sometimes he springs into another attack right after his Bloodflame explosion and if hes right behind it then you have very little time to even see what hes doing, let alone react to it. The second phase is where the visuals shine in a good way from a spectacle standpoint, but in a bad way from a gameplay standpoint. A large majority of his attacks have the AOE after-effects that can also be extremely bright and cover most of his attacks. In addition to being covered by lights, sometimes he can start attacks facing away from you, obstructing the telegraph even more, which can lead to getting bodied by attack you couldnt see even if you tried. And in my opinion, the quick triple slash is still the worst thing about him. It wasnt a huge problem here since I can guard with my left hand and take a lot less damage, but its still damage. It would be nice if there was a dodge method I could count on every time, rather than expecting to take massive damage every time he uses that attack. As it stands now, its a near frame perfect timing that requires the right positioning before he even begins the attack, so sometimes theres quite literally nothing I can do. Anyway, still love the music, and Im glad I got to replay this fight and enjoy it this time, even if it lasted a hell of a lot shorter than I expected.
