Barbara Coombs Lee is an American activist and president of Compassion & Choices, a national non-profit organization dedicated to expanding and protecting the rights of the terminally ill. She practiced as a nurse and physician assistant for 25 years before becoming an attorney and devoting her professional life to individual choice and empowerment in health care. She spoke in Denver to the Colorado chapter of Compassion and Choices prior to a lobbying effort on January 28, 2016.
