Knock yourself into Wumba's pool with a grenade or a clockwork to transform. Then press C-up during any animation that normally disables C-up, such as jumping or running. This causes third person mode to merge with first person mode, allowing you to shoot while running and jumping.
The walking controls are very awkward. You can't run backwards, and pressing up or down always causes you to look down or up, which can be very annoying. Sometimes crouching and turning is the only way to face the desired direction.
Pressing C-up in any situation where the button normally works (e.g. standing still as Banjo) deactivates the glitch. It also gets canceled if you leave the wigwam, talk to Wumba, use the warp pad in Glitter Gulch Mine, or enter the pool as a bee.
The trick doesn't work in Jolly Roger Lagoon, as the wigwam is flooded with water.
