Prior to Banjo becoming "The Henry Ford of Stock Cars" this building was home to his own race team of the iconic number 27 Ford Torino Talladega driven by Donnie Allison, among other machines raced by legends like AJ Foyt and Bobby Isaac. This is a rare example of a surviving building that played a role in winning NASCAR race cars from the late 1960s all the way until the mid 1990s.
