BrianMp16 | Banjo Kazooie: Climbing Ticker's Tower as Banjo tutorial @BrianMp16 | Uploaded 13 years ago | Updated 20 hours ago
Since I can longer edit videos, I am forced to describe how this trick works in the video description as opposed to in the video like in my previous video tutorials.
While many people know it's possible to climb ticker's tower without having to turn into the termite, not many people know how to do it consistently. This video demonstrates how ticker's tower should be done in a Banjo Kazooie speedrun.
The reason why this works is if you flap over flat ground, the sliding timer will reset and you can continue walking on a slippery slope for a brief period of time. So the easiest way to get this to work is to jump away from the next slope, then flap over to it. Quickly repeat to the next level and that's pretty much all there is to it. It's a bit tricky at first, but with a bit of practice, it's simple.
Enjoy.
