BANGKOK POLICE OFFICER ACCUSED OF NOMINEE ROLE IN ILLEGAL NIGHTCLUB

An investigation is underway after a Bangkok police officer was accused of acting as a nominee shareholder for an allegedly illegal nightclub in Huai Khwang. Authorities raided the venue after allegations that it operated without proper permission, stayed open until the early morning and employed foreign workers in questionable roles. Five local police officers have also been reassigned while officials investigate how the club was able to continue operating.
