On December 18, 1970 an underground nuclear bomb test, at the Nevada Test Site, vented radioactive dust into the atmosphere for 24 hours. This nuclear waste was later discovered in several places in North America. This video is a brief description of the disaster, which later became known as "The Baneberry Disaster." This video also touches on the effects nuclear fallout had on military personnel and civilians.
