The burly guy of the crew, GonGon actually wasn't even in the original arcade version of the first game. Apparently he was a less friendly rival of AiAi's at first.
He has a ball to match his simian size and weight, easily plowing through enemies and bumpers. This also gives him the fastest top speed but his awful acceleration makes it hard to reach it. His jumping skills are pretty bad too, though not as bad as Doctor's.
Monkeys. They belong to SEGA.
