Inspired by a comment from @Wade Hodson in the video youtube.com/watch?v=7Ae_-sL2kFw (balls dropped on |x|). As mentioned in that comment a chaotic behaviour can be observed for a*|x|, a being smaller or larger than 1.

Here, 100 balls, mutually separated by 1e-5 plot width are falling under gravity to hit respective curve.
