Old stuff with a significantly higher real space resolution: 3840 x 2160. That is, the number of lattice points used to define the two-dimensional domain in which the wave packet evolves equals the resolution of the 4k movie.

The finite difference Hamiltonian thereby has dimensions ~9M x 9M. This Hamiltonian contains only five bands with non-zero elements. Python's sparse.csr_matrix was used, as well as a gmres iterative solver.

Song from an older of my videos, made by @gpcbass. It's called Fjäriln vingad, originally made by Bellman.
