Bad Day L.A. is a third-person action game developed by The Mauretania Import Export Company and published by Aspyre Media in 2006. Players take on the role of Anthony Williams, a homeless man navigating Los Angeles during a chaotic time filled with natural disasters, terrorist attacks, biological threats, and other calamities. The game is often seen as a satirical take on politics and various controversial social issues.
NoirStation Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ - Personally, I think this game was heavily overlooked by critics due to its controversial political themes. Bad Day L.A. is an average early-2000s action game that shouldn’t be taken too seriously. It’s unpolished, with plenty of bugs, though nothing truly game-breaking. The music could have been better, as it often feels too quiet and underwhelming. Still, it offers a unique, chaotic experience that stands out from other action games of its time.
