What you do after wash day matters just as much as the routine itself — and most people don't realize their day two frizz is a hold problem, not a dryness problem.
The feel is the tell. Soft frizz means you've lost hold. Brittle, rough, inflexible hair means actual dryness. Those two things look the same but have completely different fixes — and reaching for the wrong one makes it worse.
Once you start reading your hair's signs instead of defaulting to what you were told, you get a lot more control over your results. That's the shift.
