Welcome back to YeeFit Adventures! Preparing for a hike or backpacking trip requires a comprehensive physical training plan to build endurance, strength, and flexibility. Since I have three months, I have structured a training plan to gradually increase intensity and duration over time. Here's the first of three in my three-month training plan broken down into phases:

Phase 1: Building a Foundation (Weeks 1-4)
Week 1-2: Focus on aerobic exercise to build endurance and cardiovascular fitness. Start with 30 minutes of brisk walking, cycling, or swimming, 3-4 times a week.
Week 3-4: Introduce strength training to build muscle strength and stability. Incorporate bodyweight exercises like squats, lunges, push-ups, and planks. Aim for 2-3 sessions per week, gradually increasing intensity and reps.
