YeeFit Adventures - Welcome to Yosemite National Park mid-July 2023 our first stop is at the Washburn look out and Glacier Point. A easy 1.1 mile hike to Sentinel Dome from the trail head (2.2 round trip) and features epic views of Half Dome and Yosemite Valley despite the slight smoke from a wildfire in the North East portion of the park. Taft Point trailhead is at the same location as Sentinel Dome with interesting rock formations and Fissures along the edge. Temperature range for this time of year are between 80-90 degrees with a slight breeze. The trail head features trash receptacles and restrooms, parking is limited so come early.
