It’s been a while since my last project—this time I’m building a drum machine / sequencer on the M5Stack Tab5 (ESP32-P4)! 🎶

I wrote the entire firmware in a single Arduino .ino file—no LVGL, no SquareLine Studio—just the basic M5Stack libraries (M5GFX + M5Unified). The goal was to keep it simple, clean, and beginner-friendly.

This project also ties into a personal journey: years ago I had to sell my bass guitar, but recently I got a new one. I’m still rusty, so maybe this drum machine will help me get back into the groove. 🎸
