We're finally back on the road! After spending time in Colorado, we're heading toward Michigan—and before putting a lot more miles on the truck and RV, we made several changes to our setup.
None of these changes are huge on their own, but that's one of the things we've learned from RV life: sometimes it's the little adjustments that make the biggest difference.
In this episode, we're getting the rig ready to roll, making a few towing and campsite setup changes, and seeing how everything feels once we're actually back on the highway.
We'll talk about:
• Changes we made to our bike rack and rear cargo setup
• How we're dealing with the extra weight from our e-bikes
• Adjustments to our weight-distribution and anti-sway setup
• The hitch changes we're testing on the road
• Leveling and wheel-chock upgrades we're adding to the rig
• Small things we changed after living with this setup
• Our solar and power setup while traveling
• Our ongoing truck repair and safety situation
• Why we're continuing the truck buyback/arbitration process
• And, most importantly, getting back out and traveling again
We're still figuring out what works best for our particular truck and RV combination, and we'll keep sharing what we learn as we put more miles on it.
