Canvas: 16x20 stretched primed canvas
Brushes: 1 inch flat bristle, #8 round synthetic, #3 round synthetic
Acrylic Paint: titanium white, burnt umber (brown), mars black
Other: chalk, cup of water for washing brushes, paper towel for drying brushes
STEPS:
1. 1 inch bristle brush – Paint base coat on canvas with black
2. Chalk -- Draw outline for hands and feet
3. #8 round brush - Paint base coat for hands and feet with black, brown and white
4. #8 round brush - Paint second layer to skin with cool gray (made in step #3), warn gray (made in step #3) black, brown and white
5. #3 and #8 round brushes – Finish skin on hands with black light gray (made in step #4), dark gray (made in step #4), cool gray, and warm gray
6. #3 and #8 round brush – Finish baby's feet with black, dark gray, warm gray, light gray and white
7. #3 round brush – Paint nails and details with white, light gray, warm gray, brown, black and dark gray
8. #3 round brush – Sign with dark gray
