1. 3/4 inch bristle brush – Paint base coat for canvas with white, black, brown, blue
2. Chalk – Draw outline for bird
3. #10 round brush - Paint base coat for bird with black, yellow, white, red, brown
4. #10 round brush – Finish out of focus background with white, black, brown, beige (made in step 1), orange (made in step 3), pink, blue, light yellow (made in step 3), dark blue (made in step 1), green
5. #10 round brush – Paint base coat for foreground flowers with blue, white, beige, dark blue
6. #10 round brush – Paint base coat for foreground stems and leaves with yellow, green, black, white
7. #2 round brush – Finish bird's head with black, white, brown, blue, light blue (made in step #2), red
