This is my video for the second round of Shipping Wars. I'm happy to have passed the first round!

So the theme for this round was to tear your own ship apart. Of course, death would be the only way, for me, to separate my OTP. However I argued in my previous video that their love for eachother was eternal and could overcome death. Well I thought of a story to counter attack that.
I wanted to use three songs for this. I could not choose one, so I ended up using two of the three. I found it odd at first combining a Japanese with an English song, but I like how it turned out. This is my first time editing with a Japanese song...and I used a Vocaloid song! I also added subtitles for the voice overs I used.
Story:
The video starts with Aya, recalling how she met Kyle. One night, while she was asleep, a young man (Kyle) pointed his gun at her. However, the young girl awoke, and by self defense and fast reaction, burned the armed hand of her attacker.
Kyle and Aya are both killer assassins who were set out to kill eachother. However, for some reason, which soon became apparent, they could not do it. 0:27 shows Kyle, putting his gun away, when he had the chance to shoot Aya who had turned her back. 0:37 shows Aya's hesitation toward shooting the man in front of her. Unafraid, he lowers her arm, knowing that she will not shoot, because he knows, as well as she, that even though they cannot admit it, they have fallen in love.
After a few years (yes, there's a big time lapse between 0:47 and 0:48) They decide to abandon their former lives as killers and get married. However, the day of their weeding, a group of armed men storm in.
Distracted by those men, Aya is caught off guard as her beloved shoots her. ( that is suppose to be Kyle shooting at Aya at 0:53) Aya survives, and shoots down all the men, only to point her gun once more towards her finance. Shocked, she asks him why he choose betrayal. He only replies with a sinister laugh. In cold blood, Aya shoots down the man she loved who betrayed her.
Aya then regrets ever meeting Kyle, because she dreams of what, could now, never be. If they had never met she would still be killing people as a living. He soften her. But not enough to save himself.
Then one day, Kyle's soul appears before Aya (1:28 - 1:54 is suppose to be the song from Kyle's point of view, previously it was from Aya's) Surprised, Aya points her gun towards him. Kyle asks her if she will use it. She does not reply, as she recalls his death by her own hands. Kyle gets dangerously closer, claiming he does not want to hurt her. Aya states that she will not fall for that again. She had already been betrayed once, she refuses to be deceived again. Once more, in cold blood, Aya shoots down the man she once loved.
Before disappearing completely, Kyle reveals to Aya that his former accomplices warned him to stay away from Aya. But his love for her was too strong, and he could not stay away. In his mind it is Aya whom betrayed him. The day of their wedding, when his former accomplices dashed in, all Kyle wanted, was to protect the woman he loved. However, they took over his body and made him shoot her. Resulting in his death by the hands of the woman whom he loved and believed would never betray him. Kyle's final words are that his soul is hurting, as he disappears for good, he falls in the arms of his beloved. (the song now goes back to Aya's point of view)
She realizes that all she ever wanted was to see his smile. "What have I done?" Aya sheds a tear as she dreams of a life where she and Kyle had met under different circumstances, away from guns.
Driven by sadness, Aya only wishes for one thing, her death. She asks Kyle to watch over her, a request that cannot be fullfilled because she has not only killed the man she loves but also destroyed his soul. He is now gone, forever out of her reach.
