The Awdry Extravaganza celebrates the life and legacy of the Rev. W. Awdry, creator of Thomas the Tank Engine and one of the earliest volunteers on the Talyllyn Railway.

With 2025 marking 80 years since the publication of the first Railway Series book, this three-day event over the 18th, 19th and 20th July 2025 is the ultimate celebration of the Rev. W. Awdry’s most enduring creation.
