In this podcast Tujuana, from the YouTube channel IAM TruthSeeker discusses her experience about making a bad decision to marry a fellow Jehovah's Witness. She quickly realizes that she's made a big mistake but due to the teachings and beliefs of the religion, she feels she has no option but to stay in this difficult relationship.
She believes that there is no honorable way to leave, therefore, she feels that her only choice is to try to end her life.
Growing up as a Jehovah's Witness, she believed that the Watchtower, Bible & Tract Society represented God's only true organization. When she left the organization 20 years ago, she continued believing it represented the truth, but felt she ultimately decided that the religion was not for her.
Her presence on YouTube stems from her desire to want to help others. In hindsight, she realizes that the Jehovah's Witness religion is very toxic and most of the people in it do not realize its effects until they have stepped away and looked back objectively. She believes that by telling her story and sharing the many things she has learned along the way, people will find insight, inspiration, and the courage to walk away from what she has now come to realize is most definitely NOT "the truth."
